The dates will not change, with the filming schedule being solidified now, we will get the first set of clips on Sunday 3rd and begin the editing process as that week ensues, this will provide us with a rough outline as to what we should be getting done by the end of the seconds shoot. This will be useful to us as we can plan around both of our shoots as to what needs to be done and what we have already done.

Initial idea

Image result for hulme hippodrome
We are going to set our music video in the Hulme Hippodrome, due to it being derelict as well as dilapidated, making it the perfect place to film as it fits with prior indie rock videos. Our narrative will be Todorovian, and it will follow our key protagonist, who will remain unnamed within our video on his recollection of some sort of prior event that made him have some sort of dislike towards fire. It will start of with a medium long shot, over the shoulder of our artist and will zoom backwards to show him sat on a stage. The story will cutaway from him singing to a flashback, which will most likely be in black and white, of our protagonist with a tiki torch in his hand and we will see out of the shot something set on fire and then it will cut back to the present day which will have a high key top lighting. Our singer will be Jordan Roberts, yet we are still unsure whether he will be used in our music video and if we should have another actor portraying him. The music video will end with our main Proppian Anti-hero with a match in his hand, then dropping it on to the ground and then it will fade to black. When actually getting to edit our video, we will attempt to use more difficult editing techniques to link our shots together as they are what truly will make our video look professional.

Image result for assist trauma careThe main focus of our song is the motif of fire and the problems associated with trauma surrounding it. It will be an attempt for people to talk up about their trauma and problems. At the end we could put the phone number of Assist Trauma care, which is  0178 856 0800. This would encourage our audience to talk up about their problems. I have emailed the foundation in order to ask if they would allow me to use their phone number at the end in order to raise such awareness. This links to Dyer's star theory, due to the fact that if our star thinks that people should talk about trauma and seek help, then the audience are likely to be impressionable, meaning that they will also promote the same spreading widespread knowledge and information surrounding such problems. Our artist has to be a good role model for our younger audience so we need to show off what kind of positive promotion is necessary.

Storyboard

Our song is 3:47 so I would find a way to condense such a storyboard to fit the time frame that we have available. We aren't 100% set on the timings for each shot, as we would have to see how well each one would flow with each other, but they all will have to fit with the 3:47 time frame that we have. Even though this can be seen as quite a vague idea as to what we want to do, it will provide a basis for me and Callum into what we want to do and where each shot needs to be placed as last year i was unsuccessful with my planning which led to poor execution, so this year I would like to work upon that to make it flow well and to be precise in the timings for each shot. We will be using every shot seen and described on the storyboard, with further ones being included if it seems fit and our timings do not match up, but that is highly unlikely.
