Audience feedback
After finishing our video, audience feedback was necessary in order to get the changes that could be made in order to get our video to a better standard. After showing the clip to a group of people we collected their responses.
Ewan Griffiths: "There is a moment within the visuals where the editing doesn't match with the audio. I think if you were to make it better you'd have to change that as if you're trying to pick on the small details then you would see the error there instantly as it stands out quite a bit as it's just before the set piece so people are expecting things. As well as that i think that you need to be attempting to stand out with your effects used and different filters that could be used as I think during the fire scene it could be made better by doing this or adding another shot as it's quite long. I did however like the black and white scenes, they made it stand out as something different and new which was nice to see. You spent a long time on the editing and it shows, its's good. Well done."
Daniel Campin: " I think the fire scene is the one you need to really focus in on. It's the bit that, throughout the video, is the most exciting and I think to draw the audience in further it would be better if you maybe changed to a different shot and or zoomed in on it in order to somewhat make it more exciting for the viewers. Yeah, also I believe that the shot was a bit too long, there wasn't really anything else to accompany it and it went on for a bit long so for next time it would be better if you cut it down a bit or changed to a different shot."
Alfie-Bryce Clegg: It's very good and has great continuity, I'm happy with this as a final product but I know with some work and changes it could be even better. I feel like the bit that leads up to the fire scene could do with a bit of work. Maybe some longer or shorter shots that would build the suspense to this extreme fire shot that amazes the audience. As well as this, the scenes which have the flashback in seem a bit long as they're all longer than a few seconds and just seem rather awkward and long. It would be better if you maybe shortened them so that there was a good continuity in the final product as if you were to change it too much it just wouldn't flow. If you shortened the shots in the middle of the video, It would mean that you would have to find areas to lengthen shots elsewhere which would be a challenge in itself. I feel as though the location is a strong point as the dilapidated
nature of the background makes it seem as though it is a real music video.

Rough edit
When it comes to my rough edit, I would like to work on it and get feedback from my target audience. It is only then that I can make corrections to it and make it the best that it can be. I have spotted errors after uploading it, which will be worked upon in due time and combined with my audience's reaction to it, I can then get feed back and work harder to make it look more professional.
